of impressive & rarely encountered size:
9.20ct (17.13mm x 11.36mm x 7.41mm)
The gem is of oval medium cabochon shape &
of N3 (black) body tone
The opal is resting in 
secure 18K Rose Gold 4-claw mount, 
within a surround of intricate wirework decoration, 
with elaborately detailed "open" back setting 
Setting is further complemented by two diamonds, 
each set on each of the finely detailed,
raised shoulders that measure 6mm 
The band width is solid 2.5mm and the ring size is M 1/2 
but it is sizable for a perfect fit. 
The ring is beautifully proportioned, 
rising above the finger by approx. 10mm 
with front measuring 20mm x 15mm
